ABOUT SMALL WONDER PUPPET THEATRE

Yaakov Horowitz founded the Small Wonder Puppet Theatre™ in 1976 together with his wife Aliza. He used his background in education and skills in acting, music and storytelling to create compelling scripts teaching Jewish values. Within five years he was bringing his puppets across the U.S. and Canada with an interactive show that had children on their feet dancing, singing and clamoring for more. Recognized as an innovative traveling puppet theatre bearing universal messages, Yaakov was featured as the headline performer for the Jewish Children’s Expo at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City from 1986-1991. Beginning in 2004, Yaakov took his expertise in puppetry to special needs schools and centers with great success.
