Rabbi Donath
has just joined Darchei Noam of Fair Lawn as the first Rabbi since the
inception of the shul. He is also currently part of the limudei kodesh faculty
at theTorah Academy of Bergen
County (TABC) High School,where
he teaches Chumash. Originally from Minneapolis, Jeremy attended the Skokie
Yeshiva for high school, and then spent two years studying in Yeshivat
Sha’alvim.
Following his time in Israel, he attended Yeshiva University, where
he received his B.A. in Jewish History, his Masters in Education from the
Azrieli School of Education, and his rabbinic ordination from RIETS. He has
served as the Rabbinic Intern for both the Keter Torah (Roemer) Congregation in
Teaneck, NJ and for Congregation Ahavath Torah in Englewood, NJ under the
guidance of Rabbi Shalom Baum and Rabbi Shmuel Goldin respectively. Rabbi
Donath has spent his free time being a madrich on NCSY Kollel, working as a
staff member of Camp Simcha and with J.A.C.S (Jewish Alcoholics and Chemically
dependant Significant others) and by serving various communal leadership roles
through the CJF (Center for the Jewish Future). Rabbi Donath has also
previously taught various Judaic classes in MTA (Yeshiva University’s High
school for boys).
